elindra SG I hate the wanton mee bitch too Not like her noodles are so fantastic Have to queue It's expensive And have to put up with her farked up attitude I ate it once and wrote the stall off. Now this wanton noodle stall near my office serves really lovely wanton noodles IMO is better then the shit she serves and the auntie is so nice too and have wonderful juicy char siew and not like those dry things that bitch serve at Lavender foodcourt
the Bear SG i'll stick to the North Bridge Road Market.. got featured in Lost and Found or something like that... the yong tau foo is good and feeds me very well for under $3.. the makcik sells really cheap nasi padang usually $2, the chinese nasi lemak is $2... good stuff and where else is a old-style porcelain cup of coffee only 50 cents?
the Bear SG King George whatever, near the clinic, the char siew stall rice nice to eat and at the other kopitiam which is under a stairwell beside the carpark, there's this stall selling teochew fishball noodles, damned good.. i've had that stall's noodles since i was a wee cub and they were at a kopitiam beside Rex Cinema at Selegie just off Niven Road they still do it the traditional way.. with rendered lard and seriously, their home-made fishcakes put the Lavender Market ones to shame... thing is, they don't make them for sale
elindra SG I just realised lots of spelling mistakes in that post Whatever Maybe it's sheep mentality? ieat did a write-up n the stall too
the Bear SG stupidity and herd instinct.. seriously... and to torture you, i actually have a takeaway bowl of Boston Clam Chowder just 1 foot away from me at my desk i bought extra when i went to The Soup Spoon to buy lunch
elindra SG Hehehe I eat there too That uncle's teochew fishball noodles is only $2 a bowl Very cheap I like the fish soup there too
elindra SG He gave it pretty good ratings I think ...though not as high as other stalls He said something about the watery sauce is special and that the char siew sux .... in a nice way of course
av98m SG *immediately loses faith in ieat's blog* I've had better wan tan mee in school canteens for crying out loud!
elindra SG Maybe he likes the watery sauce >< Well his other recs are good leh Maybe it's a blopper Ah well........... But seriously I dunno what is so great about that stall. Maybe have Gui kia there pulling customers
